FEDERAL AIR MARSHAL SIMULATION TRAINING
De-escalation techniques .

Federal Air Marshals (FAMs) provide counterterror surveillance in train stations as well as airports. What happens when a commuter experiences a behavioral health crisis during a busy time in a crowded rail station? How would you manage and de-escalate the individual in crisis but also manage the crowd?

This VR simulation provided myriad decision points and environmental stimuli to test officer responses and awareness.

AN AUGMENTED REALITY APP THAT CAN SAVE LIVES
Fire evacuation safety in the palm of your hand.

Minutes matter during an emergency. That's why the client commissioned me to create a mobile PokemonGo!-like fire evacuation safety app to reduce the confusion associated with evacuating multi-level buildings.Geotags or GPS identifies the location of the user, provides contextual information, and guides the user to safety.

PREPARING FOR REAL-LIFE CHALLENGES WITH VR
The only thing missing is the smell.

Sometimes, you just have to be in the real environment to fully learn and comprehend the finer points of a process or activity. Teaching insurance claims adjusters how to assess the real extent of fire damage is one of those times. But field trips to burned-out homes isn't realistic. Enter virtual reality.
